Oracle Jayne Doe<\/p><\/div>\n

I find it hard to categorize the multi-talented Oracle Jayne Doe. She\u2019s more than a hip hop artist; she has a lovely singing voice too. Plus, she mixes aspects of her passion for fitness with her unique sound.<\/p>\n

Oracle Jayne Doe has a gospel background, \u201cI sang in church and I sang with friends, when I was younger.\u201d She smiled, \u201cI really didn\u2019t rap in church. Later, I started to fuse them together, and that\u2019s me now. My music is fused with hip hop and soul music and a little bit of gospel.\u201d<\/p>\n

The musicians that Oracle Jayne Doe enjoys the most are Nina Simone, Lauryn Hill, Meshell Ndegeocello and Queen Ifrica. \u201cI\u2019ve heard that my voice and my tone sound like them.\u201d<\/p>\n

At first, Oracle Jayne Doe didn\u2019t know how she was going to blend her music career with her career as a personal trainer. Then, a group from Australia called The Black Dogs from the Vicious Recordings label asked her to do a couple of songs with them. Their songs were high-powered dance music. With that, Oracle Jayne Doe finally found a way to fuse her two careers together. \u201cThat music keeps your heartbeat going. It\u2019s a constant beat. I thought it would be great way to show my fitness side, because that\u2019s what we do in fitness: keep the heart rate going.\u201d<\/p>\n

From there, Oracle Jayne Doe started building her brand OJD. \u201cTo me, it\u2019s all a part of the musical process. If you have a good physical body and physical presence, it\u2019s easier for you in this business.\u201d To launch the concept, Oracle Jayne Doe produced a video for her single Going Nowhere<\/em>, where she ran uphill through the Los Angeles hills.<\/p>\n

Oracle Jayne Doe recently released her single Rebel<\/em> in April and video for Hard Work<\/em> in May. The video Hard Work<\/em> shows Oracle Jayne Doe training a group of girls, the girls showing her how to twerk and everyone going out later that night showing off what they worked on. \u201cIt\u2019s hard work to look so good! I\u2019m really trying to keep the brand together and tight.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"OracleI absolutely love Oracle Jayne Doe in the Da Vinci pose on her website! According to Oracle Jayne Doe, \u201cTo me, the picture represents the blue print of a man, and my music represents the blueprint of a new age, Renaissance woman. The picture of me inside the circle represents me inside the circle of the business, but I\u2019m outside of the box in my picture.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some people told Oracle Jayne Doe that her fans, young hip hoppers, would not understand the symbolism. Now, they are the main ones telling her that they love the cover. \u201cSometimes, I think the public is underestimated. I don\u2019t ever want to underestimate my crowd. I want them to be open to new music and open to what I do, so I never cut myself off.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oracle Jayne Doe connects her social media accounts through Instagram. \u201cNow, I think a lot of people are going through Instagram. I connected my accounts to Instagram, so I could be more frequent with my responses. I\u2019m always taking pictures, and I want people to see what I\u2019m doing during the day.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also uses Twitter to reach out to other artists. \u201cI hit them on the DM sometimes. I like to send my music out to key people I know in the industry. The best way to get them is to DM them on Twitter.\u201d \u00a0Oracle Jayne Doe uses Twitter every day. \u201cI put something up there, either pictures or information or what I call OraQuotes, my quotes of the day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oracle Jayne Doe advises other artists, \u201cIt\u2019s really all about keeping up with what\u2019s happening, but not necessarily going with the flow of what\u2019s happening. It\u2019s good to go against the grain, because you might create something that people want to hear. Like I said, never underestimate your listener. Don\u2019t ever sell yourself short.<\/p>\n

\u201cConstantly reinvent yourself. Search for different things to the ground level as well as the mainstream, so you can have a wider audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPut yourself online. I would never have been found if I didn\u2019t put my music online and been exposed to the people in Australia.\u201d When you are on the internet, you never know who is going to reach out and contact you. Oracle Jayne Doe is planning a trip to Australia in January. We\u2019ll be looking to Instagram for pictures!<\/p>\n
